Everyone has a Story My childhood story did not have a lot of color. I grew up going to a school where I could count the number of diverse students on one hand. I came from a town where diversity was not valued…many students were mean to kids from other cultures; they called them names and sometimes even picked fights with them. Abera’s Citizenship

Abera’s Citizenship! Congratulations to Abera and his wife, Alem on receiving their U.S. Citizenship! Son Elmo (left), who was born a month after Abera and Alem arrived in the U.S., reminded his Dad that he was a citizen before anyone else in the family! Abera had to jump right into his new duties….he was called for jury duty three weeks after receiving his citizenship. Congrats to all of you — we are so happy to have you in the Daily Work family!
