Jordyn Brown
Case Management Intern

Jordyn grew up in Minnesota, but now attends school at UW-River Falls where she is pursuing a bachelor of social work degree. She works at a crisis shelter and interns at Daily Work in addition to volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters. She is excited to complete her senior internship at Daily Work because she admires its mission and dedication to ensuring all people in our community can work, grow, and contribute.


Vince DiGiorno

Vince was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Vince graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1986. While he was a student he spent a year living and studying architecture in Rome, Italy. In 1998, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. Vince is an architect. He focusses on building code analysis and specifications writing. Vince is passionate about contributing to Daily Work’s vision that all people deserve an opportunity to support and sustain themselves through meaningful work. The economy must serve people and workers have the right to productive work and to decent and fair wages. He likes to share a meal with family and friends and he does it as many times a week as he can. He also thoroughly enjoys riding his bike all over town 25 to 50 miles at a time.

Gretchen Guenter

Gretchen was born and raised in Minnesota. She earned her bachelors in education from Pacific Lutheran University, Washington and a masters in education from the University of Minnesota. Gretchen has been a teacher and worked with teacher candidates. The vision of Daily Work has inspired her to volunteer and she is excited about working with people as they explore new job possibilities. In her free time Gretchen loves to walk, bike and spend time with her family.

Sarah Holm
Case Management Intern (651) 204-3043

Sarah was born in Elk River, Minnesota. She is currently attending the University of Wisconsin River Falls, where she is senior working towards a major in Social Work. She anticipates learning from the new experience at Daily Work and looks forward to applying the skills she has attained as a PCA (personal care attendant). In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends and family and spend time with her dog, Daisey.

David Krahn
Case Management Volunteer (651) 204-3043

David Krahn. Dave worked for a total of over 30 years for the DuPont and 3M Companies; most of his experience involved pharmaceutical R&D. He has extensive organization and project management experience. Dave is a graduate of St. Olaf College (BA) and the University of Wisconsin - Madison (PhD). Until 2017, he chaired the Daily Work Board of Directors for most years since it became a nonprofit in 2006.

Bethany Larson
Case Management Volunteer

Bethany is a first year social work graduate student at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. She just graduated from Luther College in May with a degree in sociology. Bethany has worked as a camp counselor for two years and loves working with and for people. When she isn’t here at Daily Work, she works a program called Amerigo which brings international high school students to the US for high school. She hopes to one day pursue a career in macro social work in community organizing or policy advocacy. She has a lot of experience learning and thinking critically about the systems that surround us here in the US, and she is excited to bring that knowledge to Daily Work.


Linda Lopez
Case Management Volunteer (651) 204-3043

Linda López holds a B.A. in psychology and sociology from New Mexico State University and an M.S. in counseling psychology from Central Washington University. She worked as a school counselor in the Yakima, Washington Public Schools and was district coordinator of the school district K-12 counseling program. She has taught classes to high school students in topics such as study skills, career and college planning, personal finance, employment skills such as writing resumes and interviewing. She has been a speaker at several home school conferences and support groups. Linda has her own consulting business assisting home educating (home school) families with high school and college planning and presents workshops for home educating parents on the subjects of creating transcripts, developing four-year plans for high school, preparing for college, and homeschooling through high school.

Marina Luger

Marina is pursuing her graduate degree in Social Work from St. Catherine University. She is a project manager and freelance communications consultant, with a past in general management and small business ownership. Marina is passionate about supporting others in developing new skills so that they can best achieve their employment goals. She shows up authentically in her relationships and strives to live in the present moment. She also loves hiking and cooking!

Jana Martin

Jana Martin joins Daily Work as a volunteer after spending ten years as teacher in Wisconsin and Connecticut followed by twenty-five years as a corporate tax accountant in Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her accounting certification from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Jana has enjoyed volunteering as a literacy teacher for adults throughout her working career and now is looking forward to expanding that volunteering to Daily Work.

Laurel McKeag

Laurel grew up in Minnesota and is currently attending St. Olaf College. She is a senior working towards her bachelors in social work. This summer she completed an internship with Children’s Home Society and Lutheran Social Services in their domestic adoption department. She is excited to learn, grow and support others through her internship at Daily Work. Outside of school and her internship, Laurel enjoys cooking, baking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Lee Olafson
Communications & Web Services Volunteer (651) 204-3043

Lee is currently volunteering at Daily Work as a web design/social media communications manager designing graphics and web media while helping with the routine maintenance of the Daily Work website to gain work experience in his career field. Ultimately, Lee plans to utilize his passion for art and design and his experiences at Daily Work to start up his own concept art and web graphic design business catering to small start-up and non-profit businesses helping with establishing their identity branding, online marketing and promotional needs.
