Becky Billings is an experienced digital marketer, providing online advertising for companies through positions at agencies and manufacturers. She currently works for Proto Labs as a Search Engine Marketing Specialist. With Master’s Degrees in Philosophy and English, she’s also been an English and Philosophy instructor in South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota over the years with areas of expertise in editing, copywriting, training, social media and communications. She loves the mission of Daily Work, as she has fought the unemployment battle herself and knows the particular struggles job seekers face on their career journeys.

Josh Brooks

Josh grew up in New Jersey and attained his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Lesley. He is currently studying for his Masters of Social Work at the University of Minnesota. When the time came to look for a field placement, Josh was inspired by the mission and values of Daily Work and is excited to help job seekers take their lives further in the directions they envision. In his free time, Josh enjoys reading and photography.

Vince DiGiorno

Vince was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Vince graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1986. While he was a student he spent a year living and studying architecture in Rome, Italy. In 1998, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. Vince is an architect. He focusses on building code analysis and specifications writing. Vince is passionate about contributing to Daily Work’s vision that all people deserve an opportunity to support and sustain themselves through meaningful work. The economy must serve people and workers have the right to productive work and to decent and fair wages. He likes to share a meal with family and friends and he does it as many times a week as he can. He also thoroughly enjoys riding his bike all over town 25 to 50 miles at a time.

Gretchen Guenter

Gretchen was born and raised in Minnesota. She earned her bachelors in education from Pacific Lutheran University, Washington and a masters in education from the University of Minnesota. Gretchen has been a teacher and worked with teacher candidates. The vision of Daily Work has inspired her to volunteer and she is excited about working with people as they explore new job possibilities. In her free time Gretchen loves to walk, bike and spend time with her family.

David Krahn

David Krahn. Dave worked for a total of over 30 years for the DuPont and 3M Companies; most of his experience involved pharmaceutical R&D. He has extensive organization and project management experience. Dave is a graduate of St. Olaf College (BA) and the University of Wisconsin - Madison (PhD). Until 2017, he chaired the Daily Work Board of Directors for most years since it became a nonprofit in 2006.

Jana Martin

Jana Martin joins Daily Work as a volunteer after spending ten years as teacher in Wisconsin and Connecticut followed by twenty-five years as a corporate tax accountant in Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her accounting certification from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Jana has enjoyed volunteering as a literacy teacher for adults throughout her working career and now is looking forward to expanding that volunteering to Daily Work.

Toni is currently the Ambulatory Manager at Health East Surgery and brings over 20 years of hiring experience to Daily Work. Toni is eager to share her experience interviewing and reviewing resumes with job seekers, especially through Job Club at Daily Work. She is also a part-time student, attending Metropolitan State University in the College of Individualized Studies, where her focus is Management and Religious Studies.

Lee is currently volunteering at Daily Work as a web design/social media communications manager designing graphics and web media while helping with the routine maintenance of the Daily Work website to gain work experience in his career field. Ultimately, Lee plans to utilize his passion for art and design and his experiences at Daily Work to start up his own concept art and web graphic design business catering to small start-up and non-profit businesses helping with establishing their identity branding, online marketing and promotional needs.

April was originally from La Crosse, WI before moving up to the Twin Cities in 2014 to pursue a college education. She is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Communications at Concordia University. April has always been passionate about helping others, and she is excited to focus her passion into supporting the mission and values of Daily Work. After completing her degree she plans to pursue a Masters in Library Science and Information so that she can continue helping others in a variety of ways through the public library system.

Leah hopes that this internship will help her develop a better understanding of the social work profession and find an area of social work to specialize in after graduation.

Megan Toner

Megan is currently a social work student at The University of Wisconsin- River Falls. She is excited to be a case manager for people with diverse backgrounds and to gain case management skills. Megan is looking forward to working in the social work field and demonstrating her knowledge. In her free time, Megan enjoys volunteering with dog rescues and likes traveling to warm places.

Christy Wild

Christy has worked in a variety of social service and nonprofit agencies over the past 20 years. She has served as community relations and publications coordinator at a children’s welfare agency. She created and implemented weekend programming at a youth residential mental health treatment facility, and worked as a case manager working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Christy attended Purdue University at Indianapolis and studied Psychology. She lived in Indiana until recently, when she moved to Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, exploring Minnesota, and kayaking.
