To help people come to know us, we host a Steps to Success information session as requested at both our New Brighton and St. Paul locations. The session takes about an hour and we promise, it will both inform and move you. To arrange a time, for yourself or a group, call Julie Hoff at (651) 204-3043 x2.
Why Daily Work?
Most of Daily Work’s job seekers don’t look good on paper; they have been out of work, sometimes for years. They don’t have all the skills they need; they might have a thick accent, or they’re too young or too old. Our job seekers have the potential to be not just good employees, but great employees, if they can get their foot in the door. That’s what we strive to do at Daily Work…we help job seekers get the tools they need so employers see past their paperwork...and notice their strengths. Learn More
The demand for Daily Work’s service significantly exceeds our resources. Appointment wait times can be several weeks long and partner agencies are waiting to refer more clients to us. Our goal is to double our service capacity by end of 2013! Learn More or Donate Now.
Daily Work is driven primarily by volunteer power. The Wish List gives a snapshot of our volunteer opportunities. If you are unable to donate time, we are also seeking in-kind donations as well. Perhaps you have some of these items just laying around and wish to give them new life, or you could add them to your next shopping trip.
Using your enthusiasm and know-how and Daily Work's advice and resources, you can be a partner in changing someone's life for the better. Not only that, volunteering at Daily Work is a wonderful way to gain new skills, bolster your resume, and just feel good about you! Learn More.
A big part of our client’s success is the partnerships we build with hiring managers, businesses, and other community organizations. In addition to funding program services or donating equipment and supplies, our business and community partners offer opportunities for our clients to gain valuable workplace experience and, in some cases, permanent employment.
