New Fall Interns

Meet Our New Interns!

fall-interns-2016

Fall is here again and with it we welcome new social work interns to Daily Work. We are fortunate to have four talented women from St. Kate’s/St. Thomas and for the first time, University of Wisconsin River Falls joining us for the school year.

Brit, Maihlee, Brittany, and Hannah (shown above, from left to right) will join Metro State students Koua, Kalia, and Adriana, who will all be graduating this December with bachelor degrees in social work from Metro State University.  Now with seven interns, Daily Work has more than twice as much capacity to serve people struggling with employment and self-sufficiency in our community.

For 2016, we are on track to serve more people than ever before. From January 1, 2016 – June 30, 2016 we served 138 unique people, putting us on track to serve 276 people by year-end. This is a 65 percent increase from 2014 and a projected 9 percent increase over 2015, when we served 253 people.

Here is a snapshot of the people we have served through June 30, 2016.
