Show Your Gratitude by Giving Back this November
By: April Pierce, Communications & Web Services Intern
Thanksgiving is a holiday that allows us to express our gratitude for life. One way to show your gratitude is by giving back to others, especially during the holiday season, when we all crave the warmth and comfort of food, friends, and family.
At Daily Work, we know from personal experience how much the smallest act of kindness makes in someone’s life. If you’re looking for a way to warm someone’s heart this Thanksgiving, consider volunteering at an organization that will be providing hot meals on Thanksgiving Day. It’s a great way to make an impact and have an emotionally fulfilling experience that you will treasure, too.
The holidays are also a great time for people to earn extra money by working a seasonal job. You can support Daily Work job seekers who are working their way up the career ladder by making a donation at https://www.givemn.org/organization/Daily-Work. If you prefer to donate office supplies or warm clothes, read Leah’s blog “Share the Warmth” for some good ideas.
