Marissa began her social work education in 2015 at Daily Work as a case manager intern while completing her Bachelor of Social Work at St. Catherine University. She went on to complete her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Minnesota. Her direct practice experience includes working with adults in a variety of different settings including private agencies and nonprofits. She currently works in various roles in Social Work Education. These roles include a coordinator, adjunct teaching faculty, and field instructor. Marissa enjoys working with students in the field of social work and furthering cultural sensitivity throughout all systems.
