Carey has been a social worker for over 20 years. She is currently an associate professor at St. Catherine University and enjoys remaining engaged with the practice world by providing licensure supervision and serving on the board at Daily Work. 

She is passionate about cultivating relationships and connecting people. Her calling is to do all that she can to ensure that people are seen, heard, and felt in the world.

Carey loves the Twin Cities and the rich opportunities available. She enjoys being with friends, spending time in nature, trips to Lake Superior, reading, and crafting. Her beloved dog Hank is a constant source of joy.
