Bright, cheerful Daily Work reception desk welcomes visitors

Daily Work Helps Job Seekers

People come to Daily Work with a desire to succeed and a host of complex barriers to employment – limited English language skills, homelessness, a lack of transportation, no technology access, family responsibilities, and more. Our committed group of community volunteers and interns are passionate about providing employment support services and mentoring that lead to financial stability and a full life for our job seekers.

Our work is grounded in a focus on equity and the belief that when individuals flourish, so do families and communities. For more than 15 years, job seekers have found new work and an opportunity to thrive through our services and support.

What Can People Expect at Daily Work?

People who come to Daily Work find empathy. Respect. Practical, personalized support. A path to advancement and empowerment. Hope.

Job seekers and case managers work together, one-to-one. Each job seeker's unique strengths, experiences, needs and interests are explored, mapping them into a personal action plan. By forming a close partnership, case managers can assist participants in taking small, solid steps towards larger goals.

Stable employment is often just the beginning. As job seekers gain skills and resources, their relationship with Daily Work can deepen and grow to help them achieve higher pay and better roles. Our knowledgeable and caring staff is prepared and continually trained to navigate a universe of resources, partners and services.  See the details of our service approach.

We do whatever it takes. When we see our job seekers working hard and taking big risks, we match their spirit, energy, and determination.

Volunteers: The Daily Work Difference

Daily Work's volunteer- and intern-based service model allows us to provide long-term, completely customized support grounded in authentic relationships and mutual regard.

"Daily Work is a place that helps people find employment and make connections to many critical resources," Case Manager Gretchen says.

"I can’t say enough about the great work of this organization or the tenacious job seekers we meet. Volunteer caseworkers work in partnership with job seekers so they can find employment and together, we make the world a better place by knowing and caring for each other along the way."
