After retiring from a varied career at the University of Minnesota, Cheryl decided to volunteer in the community and learned about Daily Work through Interfaith Action’s Opportunity St. Paul Program.  She believes in the mission of the organization and values the opportunity it provides to get to know people and work one-on-one with them.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading and participating in two book groups, cooking, traveling and taking long walks with her husband and their dog, Corky.
