Lindsay started their career in youth development nonprofits and a year of service as an AmeriCorps member with New Sector Alliance. Through their work Lindsay saw the value and influence of programs focused on youth education and social-emotional learning and the impact these programs can have on students from the underserved and under-resourced communities. This influenced their commitment to social justice and educational equity. These values led Lindsay to a Master of Social work with Augsburg University.
