Peter grew up in St. Paul and spent 29 years in Milwaukee, WI, serving two parishes and as bishop before returning to St. Paul in 2002. He was then elected bishop of the Saint Paul Area Synod, whose office shares a building with Daily Work—deepening his connection to the organization’s mission and people. Now a board member, he also volunteers as a driver.

Peter and his wife, Gerry, live on St. Paul’s East Side and enjoy spending time at their northern Minnesota cabin year-round. With their children grown and grandchildren spread across the country, their yellow lab fills their days.
