A collection of stories about refugees from around the world who have built new lives in the Twin Cities. Yang interviewed each person, researched the histories and places that shaped their experiences, and shared her written account with each individual to help ensure their story was represented accurately.

About Equity Chats
Equity Chats are open to all and will provide a reflective space for community members, staff, volunteers, and board members to listen to each other and learn about ourselves. It’s an opportunity to grow in awareness, challenge assumptions, and take intentional steps toward becoming more anti-racist, both individually and as a community.
