Gofar currently works as a bus driver for Metro Transit. In recent years he has worked as an interpreter for several organizations including many in Ramsey County. He is fluent in four languages: Amharic, English, Swahili, and Tigrinya. Interpreting has helped him to forge good relationships with people and honed his problem-solving skills.
