Judy Sharken Simon retired in December 2024 after five years as Daily Work's Volunteer & Operations Manager. During her tenure, she served as a trusted thought partner to the Executive Director and played a vital role in the organization's day-to-day operations, overseeing volunteer engagement, bookkeeping, front desk operations, and countless other responsibilities that helped keep Daily Work running smoothly.

Prior to joining Daily Work, Judy served as Planning Director for the St. Paul Jewish Federation, where she helped advance the organization's vision of building a vibrant, cohesive, and inclusive Jewish community. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in organizational development, nonprofit governance, strategic planning, and helping organizations identify strengths, address challenges, and build momentum toward their goals.

Retirement has been anything but quiet. Judy enjoys traveling, staying active, serving on the board of Can Do Canines, volunteering as a Traveler Assistant at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, and, much to Daily Work's delight, continuing to share her time, talents, and expertise as a volunteer.
