Maria is from north of Kansas City, MO and moved to Minnesota in 2016. She works full time for Early Head Start as a home visitor and is earning her Masters in Social Work through Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. She has made a career  mission in giving back to her community and to the clients and families that she serves.  In her down time, Maria enjoys watching Chiefs football with her family, traveling, going to movies, building Legos, and true crime television.
