Mike Lopez

Mike Lopez

Mike was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969 he attended San Antonio College before transferring to the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Psychology. During a forty year
career in higher education he served as a professor of psychology and ethnic studies and in various administrative positions in student services, including Vice President for Student Affairs at Washburn University and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs with the Minnesota
State University System. Mike is retired and enjoys playing golf as often as possible.
